NGOs intending to get funds and contributions from various other countries need to first signed up under the provisions of Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976. Either long-term registration or prior permission for a particular contribution can be looked for from the FCRA Area of Ministry of House Affairs. A signed up NGO having presence for at least three years can be registered under this provision.
The NGOs can not take foreign contribution straight. For this function they should be signed up under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976, typically known as the FCRA. fcra registration
