Amazon’s Alexa hardware event is set on September 24, 2020 at 1PM Eastern Time.
Specifics are not revealed as of the moment; however, if we’d have to make a guess based on last year’s showing there might be new smart displays and speakers.
In 2019 during the company’s hardware event, the 3rd gen Echo speaker, Echo Show 8 (smart display) and Echo Studio (high end speaker) were announced. It was also at this time when the Echo Frame glasses were introduced, as was a smart ring titled the Echo Loop.
Being an Alexa event the smart assistant should be making a huge showing. Other details that can come up include Amazon Fire TV updates and a Wi-Fi 6 model of the Eero mesh router.
An Amazon spokesperson mentioned that they will be sharing news to certain media, which means the event won’t be available for public viewing. However, we can expect the latest details to come out as they happen on the internet and social media channels.
